The Agricultural Cooperative was founded in October 2015, in the Prefecture of Pella, led by Lefteris Gitsa, President of the National Interprofessional Meat and Vice President of the Hellenic Livestock Association, but also inspired and supported by the agronomist Mr. Dino Bliatsios, President and CEO of the company “Agricultural Development SA”. At its founding meeting, 30 breeders of the region signed as founding members. Its goal is the activation of livestock farmers in new modern forms of organization, in order to improve the economic position of their holdings.
