Implementation methodology

The project will focus on the application of innovative techniques with specialized protocols for:

  • Synchronization of estrus and determination of the proper time for the Artificial Insemination with sexed male beef semen in dairy cows.
  • Collection of embryos from purebred beef animals and transfer them (fresh or frozen) embryos to dairy cows.
  • The calves will be fattened in controlled feeding and rearing conditions. The quality of the carcass will be evaluated after slaughter.
