Mr. Eleftherios Gitsas of the Agricultural Cooperative Farms of Central Macedonia (Kivotos) organizes a conference in the framework of the project: Strategies for the production of calves suitable for fattening in dairy farms, using STAR(T) BEEF assisted reproduction technologies.
The conference will take place on March 17, 2023, in the Banquet hall of the company “I Avli” (Address: Themistokleous and Athena Streets) at Krya Vrysi Pella at 10.30 am.
The purpose of the meeting is to inform about the goals of the project as well as the required actions to achieve the expected results. It is addressed to all interested parties who participate in the primary sector of Animal Production and also in the supply chain of animal products and who want to apply modern methods of assisted reproduction in their farms as well as the production and utilization of beef from fattening cows exclusively of Greek Breeding with superior quality characteristics.
The project is implemented by the Veterinary Research Institute of the Hellenic Agricultural Organization Dimitras in collaboration with the HUB for Innovation and Impact department of the American School of Agriculture, the Agricultural Cooperative Farms of Central Macedonia (Kivotos), the company Diamela A. Athanassios and the company AFOI Politikos O .E.
The STAR(T) BEEF project with project code М16ΣΥΝ2-00085 and operational plan title “Strategies for the production of calves suitable for fattening in dairy farms, using assisted reproduction technologies” is implemented within the framework of Action 2 of Sub-Measures 16.1 – 16.2 ” Establishment and operation of Operational Groups of the European Innovation Partnership for agricultural productivity and sustainability” of the Rural Development Program (RDP) 2014 – 2020.
